Лично для меня удивительно отсутствие слэпстика (Чаплин, Китон, Ллойд) - они-то, казалось, точно повлияли. Ещё было бы логично увидеть какого-нибудь "Индиану Джонса" и что-то из гонконгского. По поводу экранизации Верна: это шведский (!!) мини-сериал 1974 года, странички которого вы не найдёте на КиноПоиске. Единственное логичное объяснение: 20-летнего Чана каким-то образом занесло на Скандинавский полуостров, и там он посмотрел по телику это творение. И оно запало ему в душу до такой степени, что он начал грезить о собственной экранизации знаменитого романа. Что ж, через 30 лет мечта осуществилась.
